Get ready to Sweat, Dance and Laugh with this Dream Team of instructors.  The Cinco de Mayo Zumba/Hip Hop Fiesta has assembled Willamette Valley's most experienced and energetic team of instructors.  


Jackie
Jackie
Jackie has been in the fitness industry for over 12 years. She is AFAA Certified/and (with Strength training certs) and found her LOVE OF DANCE with Salsa. (Performed at the PDX Salsa Congress) and has been teaching Zumba for almost 3 years. Ingrid was Born in Sao Paulo Brazil, where she always had big family gatherings with music and dance. "I danced all my life and ZUMBA has brought all those memories back!!!!!! Thais
Thais has been teaching Zumba at the Kroc for the past two years. Originally from Recife, Brazil, Thais has danced all her life to Frevo, Maracatu, Samba, Coco de Roda and other Afro- Brazilian rhythms.  She studied capoeira for three years prior to moving to Salem. Lindsay
Lindsay (Left) Tanie (Right)
Lindsay has had a love for dance since she could walk, and is truly passionate about sharing dance with others.  She has been a personal trainer for ten years, and has been teaching fitness classes like yoga, pilates, power, step, and now Zumba and Hip Hop.  She loves that she can help others find the passion in their own lives and be fit doing it!  She is an A.C.E. certified personal trainer, weight loss consultant, yoga fit, Zumba and arthritis instructor.




Tanie
DANCE has always been Tanie's escape, her way of expression and her Spiritual connection. She has collectively taught Hip Hop for 5 years and performed with Portland Hip Hop dance company, S.O.U.L. Joshua
Joshua
Joshua has been involved in exercise his entire life. From sports, martial arts, lifting, running and most recently hip hop. His enthusiasm is contagious when the music starts! He enjoys anything that gets his heart racing, from traditional exercise to one of his favorites, dancing!








       
       


Kristy
Kristy
Kristy is a cardio junky who loves spreading her energetic attitude with others. Having had success with her own fitness journey is dedicated to helping others achieve theirs.  She is certified by NETA for group exercise and Pilates, she also is Turbo Kick® certified. 








       
       
Chandra 
Chandra
Chandra studied Early Child Education and Sports Fitness, and eventually earned her  Associate Degree in Child Development.  Chandra is a certified/licensed NETA, Zumba, Zumbatomic and BTS instructor, with 20 years of experience.  She can teach several group exercise classes including Zumba, Step, Cycling, Weight Lifting, Zumbatomic, Water, Boot Camp and Yoga/Pilates.




       

If you are new to Zumba or Hip Hop, start moving today with the following videos.  Concentrate on the footwork first.  Then add the arms and torso, once you legs move comfortably.  The more you do, the easier it will be.
